
Today a man approached the school in search of food and water. He did not enter the building at any time. He was approached in the parking lot by administration and escorted away from campus promptly. Student safety was maintained the entire time.

CONVOY OF HOPE EVENT: The Dadeville FFA will be distributing bags of food from the Convoy of Hope on Saturday, August 24th, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dadeville School parking lot. This event is open to everyone, and food will be distributed until 4:00 PM or until supplies run out. All are welcome!

The 2024-2025 Public/Private School Special Education Meeting will be held September 11th at 3:30 in the Superintendent's office.

OPEN HOUSE: Tonight at the Open House from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM the PTO will be serving snow cones, and the Senior Class will be hosting a bake sale. We’re excited to kick off another fantastic school year and appreciate your support for our PTO and Senior Class. See you there!

DADEVILLE OPEN HOUSE: Open House will be tomorrow Wednesday, August 21 from 5:30 - 6:30 pm.

DADEVILLE VOTECH AND FARM: Dadeville students attending Vo Tech and the Farm will start Monday, August 26. Students will need to be at the school by 7:20 AM to board the bus. On school days that students have no Vo tech, they will be expected to be on time to the 5th hour class which begins at 12:24. Students that would like to eat lunch will need to be at the school at 12:02.

Dadeville Junior High CHEER practice will start Friday, August 16th at 3:00 pm. All cheerleaders need to have a completed physical on file at the school.

Dadeville Junior High BOYS Basketball practice will begin Monday August 12 from 7:30am - 9:30 am. Athletes must have a Sports Physical prior to participating.

REMINDER- Any 6-12 grade student planning to participate in Baseball, Basketball, Cheer, Cross Country, Softball or Track and Field must have a current Medical Eligibility Form (MEF) and insurance form on file with the school. (Physical forms are to remain with the medical provider)

Please note the following changes to the Jr. High Boys Basketball Open Gym schedule due to gym maintenance:
- The open gym sessions on July 19 and 26 have been canceled.
- New open gym sessions have been scheduled on Friday, July 12 from 6 PM to 8 PM and Wednesday, July 17 from 4 PM to 6 PM

Congratulations to Dadeville FCCLA members Audrie Foster and Wiley Proctor for their hard work at the National FCCLA Conference in Seattle, WA! Audrie received Silver in her category and Wiley was a Top Ten National Finalist and received Gold in his category! Great job, Bearcats!
