The Dadeville FFA Chapter and Mr. Buck would like to invite you to the annual Chicken BBQ and Chapter Banquet, which will be held on Tuesday May 6th at 7:00 PM. We will be honoring students for their accomplishments throughout the year while we enjoy a great meal and entertainment. Thanks for your support!

Bode Keys was honored at the Writer's Hall of Fame Banquet for his opinion/persuasive writing on the impact of plastics on the environment. Well done, Body!


Mrs. Kennemer's Fourth Grade class has been learning about Newton's Laws of Motion. Today they tested Newton's 1st Law of Motion with an egg drop. Each students' design was dropped out of the top window in the gym. Pictured are students that successfully built a design that protected the egg.


Congratulations to Bode Keys for being selected to the Writer’s Hall of Fame for his persuasive essay on plastics at the LAD Fair at Willard. Way to go Bode!

Congratulations to Mrs. Sappington, Mrs. Ochner and all of the PCL Language Arts Fair participants. Dadeville students earned 1st place in each of the following contests:
Junior High Written Entries, Junior High Literature Team (Caden Farmer, Luke Bushey, Ellie Mitchell and Chloe Cornelison), Junior High Vocabulary Team (Ellie Mitchell, Chloe Cornelison, Libby Lakey, and Tori Schedler), High School Written Entries, High School Literature Team (Haley Lowry, Macey Sappington, Lexi Goodman, and Saedee Sherwood), High School Vocabulary Team (Macey Sappington, C.C. Miller, Lexi Goodman, and Saedee Sherwood). Dadeville also had the Top Overall Vocabulary scores in the junior high and high school. With Libby Lakey, Saedee Sherwood and Lexi Goodman earning those honors. Way to go!

Dadeville students participated in the Dade County Soil and Water Conservation District Poster Contest. Hollie McGill was the 1st place winner for third grade. Addison Orr won 1st place for fourth grade. Josh King won 2nd place in fifth grade. Sixth grade had three winners; Landon Keathley- 1st place, Rowan Schedler- 2nd place and Wiley Proctor -Honorable Mention. All first place winners will advance to state competition in Jefferson City.


This Friday, March 22nd, Lexi Goodman and Breanna Wince will be hosting an awareness night for Human Trafficking. The Night Light organization will be speaking to inform anyone interested in learning more. The event will be at the Dadeville Baptist Church at 6:30 p.m. Cinnamon rolls will be sold as a fundraiser for Night Light. ** Mature audience some topics may be sensitive to children**

Spring Pictures will be March 20th. Picture packets have been sent home with elementary students. Junior high and high school students were to pick the packet up during lunch. Congratulations to Macey Sappington and Clinton McGill. Both competed in District Music Contest and earned a I Rating. Macey and Clint will compete at the state level in April. Great job to both of them!


Reminder: Parent Teacher Conferences are tomorrow and Thursday from 3:30-6:00.

School will be in session on Friday March 8 as a result of our recent snow day.
