Dadeville School will be letting out at 12:30 today due to impending weather. Please contact the school if your plans are different from what is listed on the emergency contact form.
Items that did not sell during the past auction will be placed outside in the gravel lot at the school building.

Thursday's boys basketball game will be played at 5:00 at the Golden City tournament. This is a change from the original brackets.
Tentative Concert Reschedule Dates: Elementary March 15th, 7:00 pm; High School January 30th, 6:00 pm; Junior High will perform at the Chili Supper March 9th, 6:00pm; Spring Concert May 10th, 7:00 pm.
Tomorrows Girls basketball game vs Sheldon has be postponed. The Boys basketball game will be played as scheduled starting at 5:30.

Information concerning active COVID-19 cases and quarantines for the district will now be posted on the districts website and app. This will be our primary method of communicating positive cases and this information will be updated as data changes. As always parents of students who are considered close contacts of individuals that tested positive will be contacted by the school and health department.
Unfortunately due to new positive COVID-19 cases in the high school and resulting quarantines both Christmas Concerts scheduled for tonight have been cancelled. We will provide additional information concerning the potential reschedule plan once decided.
The protocol for the music concert has been sent home with each student today. The lists have also been put on the school website under "Documents" in the "Music Concert Protocol" folder.
Final bids for the FFA auction must be turned in by midnight tonight. Results will be posted Saturday morning.
An individual associated with Dadeville High School has tested positive for COVID-19. The individual was last at school Wednesday, December 2. Any individuals associated with the school that were identified as close contacts have been contacted, and these individuals should also receive a follow up call from the local health department. If your student experiences COVID symptoms please keep them at home and contact your health care professional.

In addition the most recent policies for individual counties for modified quarantines at school have been posted in the documents section of the website under COVID 19 information. Note that Dade County Health Department has changed course on their decision concerning extracurricular activities while a student is under modified quarantine orders.

Congratulations to Dadeville Cross Country runners and coaches! The boys team placed 1st at Districts today and will advance to state. Reid Goodman placed 9th and Luke Bushey placed 12th, both earned medals. Libby Lakey placed 4th and Ellie Mitchell placed 6th. Both girls earned medals and advance to the state race. Congratulations and good luck next weekend.
